I remind myself daily, “My life is not about me.” I am here to serve a greater purpose. The longer I spend time restarting, revising, and rethinking every word I speak and write, the less focused I am on fulfilling my life’s purpose. I am not perfect, my family is not perfect, and I am not an “expert” in anything. But, I’ve accumulated an abundance of knowledge on educating and raising children, and I have an overwhelming compulsion to share what I’ve learned.
Recently, after sharing my deepest insecurities with a good friend of mine, she sent me this post by Lisa Nichols. Thank you to my friend Stephanie Crider for sharing, and thank you to Lisa Nichols for so eloquently stating what I already knew, but exactly what I needed to hear. I am inspired, committed, and on a mission!

Thank you, my friend. I have spent the last 12 years inspired by your brilliance, creativity, your family’s inner peace, and your ability to create remarkable environments around you. You have taught me how to be a better person and parent when I didn’t know what to do. Thank you for your willingness to share your wisdom with the world!
This is such a great concept! I am so very proud of my cousins: Renee and Jada!!!
Thank you Brenda!
